South Korean artist opens new digital exhibition in Qatar

Prominent South Korean visual artist Lee Lee Nam made his debut in Qatar last night
during the opening of an exhibition at the Katara Art Center.
Lee Nam is known for digitally reinterpreting traditional Korean ink painting masterpieces
as well as European classical paintings into a contemporary new art form.
The exhibition has been brought to Doha by Korea-based ASAN Gallery and KAC with
support from Korean Embassy and Korean Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA).
I want to deliver real feeling to people through my visual art, Lee Nam told Doha News.
Praising the exhibition, South Korean ambassador Heung Kyeong Park said, Lee Nam work gives
life to the masterpiece. Mona Lisa is still Mona Lisa, but many have made developments.
It about bringing new ideas from the old masterpieces
