South Korean artist opens new digital exhibition in Qatar (photos)

Prominent South Korean visual artist Lee Lee Nam made his debut in Qatar last night
during the opening of an exhibition at the Katara Art Center.
Lee Nam is known for digitally reinterpreting traditional Korean ink painting
masterpieces as well as European classical paintings into a contemporary new art form.
The exhibition has been brought to Doha by Korea-based ASAN Gallery and KAC with
support from Korean Embassy and Korean Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA).
&ldquoI want to deliver real feeling to people through my visual art,&rdquo Lee Nam told Doha News.
Praising the exhibition, South Korean ambassador Heung&ndashKyeong Park said,
&ldquoLee Nam&rsquos work gives life to the masterpiece. Mona Lisa is still Mona Lisa, but many ]
have made developments. It&rsquos about bringing new ideas from the old masterpieces.&rdquo
Speaking about future exhibitions at the KAC, CEO Tariq Al Jaidah told Doha News
